Re-branding an eBook is a fantastic way to make viral and affiliate profits.  When you have got the reprint and resell rights to an e-book you are allowed to change it and make it your own and then sell it or redistribute it to your opt in list or customers.

Most books available for re-branding come in two versions: An MS Word version and a PDF version. 

There are a number of expensive programs that you can purchase to help you re-brand your books.

However, there's a less costly program you can use and you have most likely already got it installed on your computer: Microsoft Word!

Microsoft Word offers a few features to make re-branding a breeze:

1 The Insert Hyperlink feature.  This feature, when you click on it, enables you to change or add a hyperlink to text.  If the book already has hyperlinks, then you can use this feature to change them. 

2 Find and replace.  (Ctrl and F)  This feature enables you to uniformly change the content.  For example, if you want to change a web site address that several times throughout the eBook is referring to your website or your affiliate website, you can use the find and replace feature and change the entire book in one click.

3 Headers and footers.  Often, the headers and footers of an eBook need to be re-branded to show your website and your contact information.  In Microsoft Word you can very easily make changes to the header and footer.

4 Change the cover page.  MS Word enables you to completely delete, modify, or replace the cover page.  Change them to reflect your business.

Tip: If the book isn't available in word format, and the PDF is unsecured, which it should be if re-branding rights are available, then you can cut and paste the PDF content into word to make your changes. 

Once your book has been modified in MS Word you can print it as a PDF using one of the many PDF converters that are available for free.
